FANUC previously received this honour in 2012, 2013, 2022 and 2023, making this the fifth time the company has been included in this list and the third time in a row.
Clarivate identifies the 100 most innovative companies and institutions in the world by analysing the latest advances in innovation to make assessments based on proprietary patent data and other criteria such as the number of patents acquired, degree of impact, success rate, geographic investment and rarity. The top 100 global innovators have been announced every year since 2012.
