Der M-1000𝑖A ist der größte Roboter von FANUC, der mit einem seriellen Gelenkmechanismus ausgestattet ist und nicht mit dem für die meisten Roboter mit schwerer Traglast typischen parallelen Gelenkmechanismus. Dadurch bietet der M-1000𝑖A einen größeren Bewegungsbereich, sowohl in vertikaler als auch in Längsrichtung. Durch die hohe Traglast, die hohe Trägheit des Handgelenks und die Flip-Over-Fähigkeit eignet sich der M-1000𝑖A perfekt für alle Arten von Materialhandhabungsanwendungen mit schwerer Traglast (z. B. Handhabung von Elektrobatterien, Hebevorrichtungen usw.).
